Cabin mess, 2 weekends of clean up...

The snow is still deep in the midway valley for the first week of June

The whole crew was there to clean up the tree mess, 20 plus trees down at least

Jon running the chain saw is always interesting

ya, more trees....

After getting the tress cut up we had Dave's friends come up and Chip the 6 piles of limbs 2 weeks later

It took about 5 hours but we got it all chopped and hauled off

Duck creek is more of a lake then a meadow still..they even moved the chili cook off to Aug this year

Sherry taking a rest after all of the yard work

Kai was handing out some great kisses

Reggi's big day

Some photos of Reggis big day, I have to admit that after months of planning it went off with out a hitch...

Austin was looking mighty fine...

I like Bonnie in purple...

The weather turned out great (for the end of May in Cedar, it could have been snowing)

Kai was a hit in her wedding outfit...

I think that the carriage ride was quite the added touch...

Reggi telling Austin what to do already ;)

The turn out was big, we even ran out of chairs! (oh wait they was in the trailer)

Lex and Neil helping clean up after the lunch...

The food looked and tasted great

That is a lot of strawberry's!

Angles landing hike

Shalon has been planning this for months...a hike to Angles landing...

As you can see Bonnie was pretty excited to go...she has never been and it was on her bucket list of things to do.

The switch backs sure are pretty, pretty dang steep...

And lots of them!

When we got to the chain, I had forgot how steep this was...I think that when your a teenager you just don't think the same way as when your in your 40's :)

Bonnie was a little spooked going across the saddle. we all had a good grip on the chain...

It doesn't look really steep until you look down...

Boy what a view from the top...We live is a beautiful place...

Thanks for talking us into this Shalon, I cant wait tell our next adventure!

Easter at Beaver Dam

The weather was here wish you was beautiful!
Kai was the life of the party!

Bob showed no mercy playing ladder ball, i think that it is favorite...
Brendon was showing us the river bottom...boy was the water high...
Jon thinks that "this looks familiar" ha ha, we know that means he is lost!
Its much better when Bonnie is leading, we make it home that way :)
After finding the trail it was worth the trip to get a view like this into the Gorge.
Wow, how did someone think they could build a highway through this rock canyon!

This photo is cool, not just cuz Jon is in it but because you can see all of the blast tailing's from when they was building the road.. tons and tons of rock!

This is a rock foundation of some short of home, I don't know way anyone would build a home here..Jon said that there wagon blew over and broke so they had to build something to live in... hahah!

Seniors on sleds

You have to watch out when your on the mountain now a days cuz there may be some senor citizens burning up the snow

Mom had to crawl up the snow bank to climb on the sled but she didn't fall off when dad was ripping up the trail to Cedar Breaks

The wind was blowing hard

10 miles is not bad for the first trip on the snow in decades..What a blast...so glad to be able to do that with them..Thanks Mom and Dad..I love you!

Shop insluation

The first load on the dump truck!
Lex Bonnie and I spent a Sunday loading it up with Insulation.

Justin is a great friend. He let us to go to his old building (at old airport) and remove some of the insulation to put it up at the shop. Anyone that has been to the shop knows that in the summer it can get very hot. Very, very hot!

Doug lined up some scaffolding for us to use (thanks Warner Construction)

Rock was great help (slave labor is always great) getting the insulation up the scaffolding to Lex and I stuffing it in the roof...

We was short some but as Justin's building gets moved over to the new airport, we will be able to get some more...

Presidents day storm

We had great plans for the family over the weekend but the weather was not on our side..

We had to keep shoveling the deck and the drive way about every hour to keep up with the snow coming down...

I did let up on Sunday afternoon, after about 33 inches...

I think that there is a a pretty good base in Duck Creek, don't you think!
